Maori Art Galery

Polynesia rocked my childhood. I lived there from 7 to 9 years then from 16 to 19 years. I always tried to go back there every 10 years. In 2019 I had the chance to make a magical trip again. The Polynesian culture touches me by its union with nature, respect for family, elders The symbols of Maori art take all of these values and sublimate them through aesthetics.

After the big project “Let’s realize our dreams for a better world” where I painted 1200 square meters of canvas, I needed to refocus on a very precise, posed work. It echoes this period of confinement due to the Covid 19 where everything seems to be suspended, where we ask ourselves and wonder about the relationship betwin man and the nature.
